Prayer Intentions Anyone?

Mr. M again -

Gracefully, we are blessed to go on an retreat this upcoming weekend just for those suffering infertility. I can not express how excited I am for this retreat. It comes at the perfect time for us (i.e. a very low time in our lives), a time filled with great suffering and heaviness. But I believe retreats are not just about me or us. It is also a time to carry with us, in a special way, the prayers of our dear brothers and sisters who travel this road of suffering with us. So, if you have any prayer intentions that you would like us to pray about this weekend, then please leave us a comment or email us by Friday morning (we leave around that time).

I will write each intention down on a piece of paper, wedge it between the pages of my bible, and pray for you every time I open the Bible (which is frequent on a retreat). I will also remember you in my daily prayers, rosaries, and masses. I am sure Mrs. M will do something similar. So please send us your intentions and we will "prayer bomb" you this weekend as one of my friends likes to call it :-)

  1. Prayer bomb... I like it! :) Just pray for a special intention for my family please, and I will keep you both in my prayers for a fruitful retreat. I don't know what I would do without my yearly retreat. Go crazy, probably. :)

  3. Looking forward to meeting you guys this weekend! It'll just be me though (DH is out of the country). Just asking for prayers for the journey there and prayers for a fruitful IF retreat (never been to one and this is a bit out of comfort zone).

  5. Just want to say that I know this is hard for you and other bloggers as I also suffer from IF. But when I read so many of these posts and see what good people you all are, it makes me think how pleased God must be with all of you (us too!) as we remain faithful to him and his teachings, even when it's hard. And how in refusing to give in to things like IVF, we remain close to God and he must be looking after us in a special way, although it is not always clear. God bless you and have a wonderful retreat.

  7. Prayer bomb...love it! Please prayer bomb away for my husband and I. We are fellow Infertiles and have been waiting for over two years to be chosen by a birthmom. Please pray that my upcoming procedure shows that my tubes are clear and that we conceive soon or are blessed with a healthy baby through adoption. You both will be in my prayers as well. I hope the retreat gives your healing. Amber

    1. Amber, that sounds so hard! Infertility, then a long wait for adoption, and worry about your tubes blocked. Our prayers and thoughts are with you this weekend. You are on the prayer bomb list and are already in our bible!! Blessings.

  8. Would you please pray for the couples who had a hard time getting pregnant and are now pregnant? Especially for peace in their hearts and trust in God's plan.

We are one of those couples... Katherine and Andrew

P.S. you'll be in my prayers

  9. If you would, please pray for my friends M & J, who are trying to have a baby but so far, have only suffered miscarriages. They just found out last week that they are pregnant again but it's not looking too promising. I will be praying for you guys this weekend.

  10. That must be so very difficult. We will pray for a miracle - a safe delivery! Thanks for sharing their intention.
